The artist

Caroline is a circus artist from Québec, Canada. She specialize in free standing lyra, aerial arts and horse acrobatics. She got her training with Masters in Montreal, France, Argentina and New York in aerial, equestrian acrobatics and comedy. She performed as a dancer and circus performer in events, festivals, shows etc, in Canada, USA, Europe and Asia . She was first train as a dancer with a minor in theater and like to mix all her skills to make multi-disciplinary work. Her pluridisciplinary approach gave Caroline the opportunity to get involve into dance and circus projects that are mixing mediums and it’s in these fields where she is interested on continuing to evolve.

Artistic statement

Having a great interest in the mixing of genres and disciplines, she believes in the richness of breaking down artistic boundaries as well as in the complementarity that each art form can bring to the other. Caroline is interested by all the complex sides and grey zones of the human being. She also believes in the multi-angle discourse, which allows the viewer to experience several emotions within the same work.
